Low Fat Double Chocolate Chip Cookies
Looking for a chocolate fix? Try these soft, chewy, double chocolate chip cookies. We've kept all the chocolaty goodness but trimmed some of the fat. Just 77 calories per cookie!

Ingredients:

  • 1 2/3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup Crystal Farms® butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup applesauce
  • 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 cup (2 ounces) AllWhites® egg whites egg whites
  • 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions:

1. Heat oven to 350° F. In medium bowl stir together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt; set aside. In large bowl combine Crystal Farms butter, applesauce, brown sugar, sugar and vanilla. Beat with electric mixer until well mixed. Add AllWhites. Beat just until mixed.

2. Add flour mixture; beat until well mixed. Stir in chocolate chips.

3. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto lightly greased or parchment lined cookie sheets. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until cookies are set. Cool cookies 1 minute; remove cookie onto cooling rack.
