Nutty Buddy Protein Smoothie
A delightfully nutty flavor combination with creamy, rich French vanilla. Flax seed has a terrific nutty taste that pairs perfectly with peanut butter and yogurt. Flax seed reduces cholesterol, in addition to being rich in soluble fiber, omega 3 and lignans (a natural antioxidant).
Preparation: 5 minutes  
Serves: 2

Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup AllWhites® egg whites
  • 1 container (6 ounces) fat free vanilla yogurt
  • 1/4 cup skim milk
  • 2 tablespoons natural peanut butter with omega 3
  • 1 tablespoon whole ground flaxseed meal*

Instructions:

Combine all ingredients in blender. Cover and blend on medium speed until smooth. Serve immediately**.

Tips & Substitutions:

* Flaxseed can be found in the Natural or Health section of your grocery store.

** This recipe can easily be doubled.
