Crispy hash browns make a unique 'crust' for this delectable bacon and Swiss quiche.

Ingredients

  • 3 cup
    Simply Potatoes® Shredded Hash Browns
  • 1 cup
    Crystal Farms® Shredded Swiss Cheese
  • 1 Tbsp.
    all-purpose flour
  • 4 strips
    bacon, cooked, crumbled
  • 2 cups (16 oz.)
    AllWhites® egg whites
  • 3/4 cup
    half and half
  • 1/8 tsp.
    ground pepper

Instructions

  • Heat oven to 375° F. Butter bottom and sides of 9-inch glass pie plate. Firmly press hash browns on bottom and sides of pan. Bake for 5 minutes.

  • In medium bowl combine cheese and flour; stir well. Add bacon, AllWhites, half and half and pepper. Pour into pre-baked crust.

  • Continue baking 40 to 45 minutes until knife inserted in center comes out clean and crust is golden brown.
