Go ahead, be a cookie monster! Satisfy your craving with this soft, chewy chocolate chip cookie recipe. We've kept all the cookie goodness, but trimmed some of the fat. Just 103 calories per cookie!


  • 3/4 cup
  • 1/4 cup
    butter or margarine, softened
  • 3/4 cup
  • 3/4 cup
    firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 tsp.
  • 1/2 cup (4 oz.)
    Better'n Eggs®
  • 3 1/2 cup
    all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp.
    baking soda
  • 1 tsp.
  • 2 cup
    semi-sweet chocolate chips


  • Heat oven to 350° F. In large bowl combine applesauce, butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla. Beat with electric mixer until well mixed. Add Better'n Eggs. Beat just until mixed. Stir in flour, baking soda and salt; mix well. Stir in chocolate chips.

  • Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto lightly greased cookie sheets. Flatten cookie slightly. Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until lightly golden brown. Let stand 2 minutes before removing from cookie sheet.
