Simple and delicious! Brownies are a crowd pleaser. These brownies are made in a 13x9 pan and topped with a chocolate powdered sugar frosting.

Ingredients

  • Brownies Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup
    butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 1/4 cup
    all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup
    firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup
    sugar
  • 1/4 cup
    unsweetened cocoa
  • 1/2 tsp.
    baking powder
  • 1 cup (8 oz.)
    Better'n Eggs®
  • 2 tsp.
    vanilla
  • 1 cup
    chopped pecans or walnuts
  • Frosting Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup
    powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup
    butter or margarine, softened
  • 2 Tbsp.
    unsweetened cocoa
  • 2 Tbsp.
    milk
  • 1/2 tsp.
    vanilla

Instructions

  • Heat oven to 350° F. Grease 13x9-inch baking pan. Melt butter in 2 quart saucepan. Remove from heat. Add all remaining brownie ingredients except nuts. Stir until well mixed and smooth. Stir in nuts. Spread into prepared pan. Bake for 15 to 17 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely.

  • Combine all frosting ingredients in medium bowl. Blend with electric mixer until smooth. Frost cooled brownies.
