5-minute microwave breakfast recipe! Power-up your morning with protein-packed scrambled egg whites, shredded Cheddar cheese and a dash of flavorful herbs. 17g protein and just 107 calories. It’s a quick and easy recipe that says, “Have a better day!”

Preparation: 3 minutes  
Cooking: 2 minutes  
Time-To-Table: 6 minutes  
Serving Size: 1

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup Better'n Eggs®*
  • 2 tablespoons Crystal Farms® Reduced-Fat Shredded Cheddar or Marble Jack Cheese
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon dired dill weed or basil leaves
  • Freshly ground pepper to taste

Substitutions:

*Or swap AllWhites egg whites for Better'n Eggs. Just stir in 1 tablespoon nonfat milk to make the eggs fluffier.
**Use a mug that holds at least 16 ounces or a 2-cup glass measuring cup.

Tips:
  • Using butter-flavor cooking spray is especially tasty.
  • Depending on the mug used, eggs may rise up over the top of the mug, but won’t overflow. They deflate quickly once mug is removed from microwave.


Instructions:
    1. Spray inside of a large microwave-safe mug** with nonstick cooking spray. Stir together eggs, milk, 1 tablespoon cheese, salt, herbs, and pepper in mug with a fork.

    2. Microwave mug on HIGH 1 minute. Stir; microwave about 30 seconds longer or until eggs are set. Sprinkle with remaining 1 tablespoon cheese.
