Using ground turkey will make your meatballs healthier without compromising taste. Adding in pine nuts adds a surprising crunch and serving them in cranberry sauce adds a festive touch.

Ingredients

  • Meatballs Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. (20 oz.)
    lean ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup
    seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup
    finely chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup (2 oz.)
    Better'n Eggs®
  • 2 Tbsp.
    finely chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 Tbsp.
    pine nuts, chopped, optional
  • 1/2 tsp.
    salt
  • Cranberry Sauce Ingredients

  • 1 cup
    jellied cranberry sauce
  • 1 cup
    barbeque sauce
  • 1/3 cup
    apple juice
  • 1/4 tsp.
    ground ginger

Instructions

  • Heat oven to 375°F. Line 15x10x1-inch baking pan with aluminum foil. In large bowl mix together meatball ingredients. Form into 1-inch balls; place on prepared pan.

  • Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until meatballs are no longer pink in center.

  • Meanwhile, in 3 1/2 quart slow cooker or large saucepan whisk or stir together sauce ingredients. Cook on LOW until sauce is heated. Stir in meatballs. Serve with toothpicks.

  • Tip: Meatballs will hold in slow cooker for up to 2 hours. Stir occasionally.
